Honest photography with a documentary approach, focused on real moments and real stories — photographed naturally, with minimal editing.
Photography as it happens — unposed, unfiltered, and true to the moment. I capture real stories, real people, and real work, with minimal editing to preserve the honesty of what unfolds. No staged scenes, just life as it is: raw, spontaneous, and full of meaning.
As photographer, I bring together my expertise as a strategic communication advisor and my passion for documentary photography.
Whether I’m photographing people at work, people in motion, an event, or a personal journey; I focus on the essence of the story and the people involved. My approach is collaborative: I work closely with my clients, co-creating visuals that align with their goals and reflect their unique identity.
Based in Noordwijk, I shoot with Fujifilm, using its natural color palette to enhance the authenticity of every image. My background in communication allows me to understand the context and purpose behind each project, ensuring the final result is not just visually compelling, but also strategically effective.

Why I do this
Photography gives me a way to document life as it is, not as it’s supposed to look. I’m drawn to stories with meaning — projects that reflect care for people, nature, or the world around us. That’s why I prefer to work with NGOs, non-profits, and organisations or individuals I genuinely connect with.
How I work
I work quietly and with intention, giving space to people and situations to unfold naturally. My approach is observational rather than directive. Editing is minimal by choice — what you see is what you get. This keeps the work honest, credible, and close to real life.
Balance
I have a strong outdoor side, but I’m just as comfortable diving deep into a project behind a screen. Balance matters to me — between nature and digital work, movement and focus. That combination shapes how I observe, think, and photograph.
When discretion is essential
Some projects require extra care and responsibility.
In this kind of work, photography is not always meant for public visibility (hence the pixelation in the image used here), but it can be highly valuable for reflection, alignment and internal communication.
I take privacy seriously. That’s why I prioritise European tools such as Capture One and Proton, and only use alternatives from jurisdictions with strong data-protection standards.
